This very old album is a personal collection containing 35 pieces, very
old and fragile photographs from various sizes dated 1889 and 1890. These historical
and heritage photographs are originals and unique, have never been seen before
by the public and have never been reprinted.
21 out of 35 pieces are sceneries of Port Dickson Pier (Straits
Settlements), Construction of Port Dickson Station, Railway and Shops (Sungei
Ujong Railway Company Limited from Sungei Ujong to Port Dickson was officially
opened in 1890), Dutch Colonial Officers, their families and Sultan of Sungei
Ujong. Those photographs are mounted back to back on original cardboards and
titled in ink below every each of them.
The other 14 pieces are photographs of Dutch Colonial Officers, their
families and sceneries in NETHERLANDS
